How to Cook Greens (Quick Method)

Faster collards for a weeknight.

Pre-cut

Skip the bunch — buy pre-cut, washed collards in a bag. Saves 20 minutes.

The pot

4 cups chicken stock, 1 smoked turkey leg, 1 chopped onion, 4 cloves garlic. Bring to boil; add greens in batches.

Seasoning

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon sugar, salt. Simmer 40 minutes covered.

Speed move

Use Instant Pot pressure-cooking — 25 minutes high pressure, natural release. Tastes like all-day greens.
